Didacta 14th March 2025 - Firenze

Picture
Workshop: Arduino and chemistry – exploring the science of materialsThis workshop desribes the construction and use of a simple stress-strain tester for plastic films based on Arduino. The tester can be used to various samples of film-like plastics and gives remarkably consistent results which are in line with reports in the academic literature. The tester has been used in various roles including as a didactic tool in a module on material properties in class.

More details of this work will be published shortly.
